Mawkyrwat; August 6, 2020: In continuation to the Press Release No. SWK/DDMA/COVID-19-18/ORDER/2020-21/1 dated 5th August 2020, issued by the office of the Deputy Commissioner, South West Khasi Hills District, Mawkyrwat for the general public information that the person from East Khasi Hills District, who had visited Rangthong PHC and had tested positive for COVID-19, had also visited the following places at Mawkyrwat Market on the 4th August 2020 at around 5:00 p.m onwards, along with his high risk contact (family member):-

1. Shop of Kong Mebi K. Wanniang

2. SBI ATM

3. Residence/ Shop of Bah Krillin Lyngdoh

 

Therefore, all persons who visited these places on the 4th August 2020 on or after 5:00 pm are to undergo home quarantine immediately. They may contact the District Control Room and await further instructions.

Further, any member of the public who visited these places on 5th August 2020, as a precautionary measure, will quarantine themselves at home. All such persons above will monitor their health closely and in case of development of any flu like symptoms (cough, fever, breathing difficulty), they will immediately inform the control room at 6909904336/9485153533. These shops will remain closed/ restricted till further orders.

Inform the District Control Room if you have visited Rangthong PHC on 4-5 August, 2020: DC SWKHD

Mawkyrwat; August, 5, 2020: The office of the Deputy Commissioner, South West Khasi Hills District, Mawkyrwat, informed the general public that a person from East Khasi Hills District who has tested positive for COVID-19 visited Rangthong PHC on the 4th August, 2020, to drop his family member, a staff at the said PHC. Therefore, all staff of Rangthong PHC present at the PHC since the 4th August, 2020 are to undergo home quarantine immediately and await instructions for testing from the District Surveillance Officer.

Further, any member of the public who visited Rangthong PHC on the 4th August, 2020 and 5th August, 2020 will quarantine themselves at home and call up the District Control Room for further instructions. They will monitor their health closely and in case of development of any flu like symptoms (cough, fever, and breathing difficulty) they will immediately inform the Control Room at 6909904336/9485153533.

The Rangthong PHC will be closed for 2 (two) days while contact tracing, testing and sanitization is being done. During this period, Mawkyrwat CHC will cater to all health requirements of villages falling under Rangthong PHC.
