Lifting
of Containment Order from Balat Village
Mawkyrwat, June 26,
2021: The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, South West
Khasi Hills District, Mawkyrwat as per the Meghalaya Epidemic
Diseases, COVID-19 Regulations, 2020 and Amendments, “LIFT” the Containment
area of “Balat Village which was declared on June 14, 2021.
The
order was made based on the contact tracing status and test reports of the
high-risk contacts in the village and report received thereof. In view of the
urgency of the matter, the Order has been made ex-parte.
