The office of the “Block Development Officer, C&RD Block, Mawkyrwat”, will remain CLOSED from 9^th August, 2021

Mawkyrwat, August 08, 2021: The office of the Deputy Commissioner, South West Khasi Hills District, issued an order under section 2, 3 & 4 of the Epidemic Disease Act, 1897 which constituted the Meghalaya Epidemic Disease COVID-19 Regulations, 2020 and Amendments thereof for containment of outbreak of COVID-19, that after detection of positive cases/high risk contacts in the office of the “Block Development Officer, C&RD Block, Mawkyrwat”, and due to recent high risk and low risk contact with the COVID-19 positive cases, vulnerable and affected areas required aggressive contact tracing, quarantined, testing and isolation as well as containment in the interest of Health of public against any possible spread of COVID-19.

 Therefore, the office of the “Block Development Officer, C&RD Block, Mawkyrwat”, will remain CLOSED w.e.f 9^th August, 2021 till further order. All person who attends the said office w.e.f 2^nd August, 2021 must quarantine themselves at home for 10 (TEN) days and call up the District Control Room for detailed instructions.
