Mawkyrwat, September 30, 2020: The Deputy Commissioner (Excise) of South West Khasi Hills District, Smt. C. Kharkongor, IAS, has declared Dry Day in the entire South West Khasi Hills District on 2^nd October, 2020 on account of GANDHI JAYANTI where all liquor shops/IMFL shops/ Bar/ Hotels/ C.A Bars/ C.S shops/ /Canteens and out still stalls shall remain closed on the above mentioned date. Violation of the above order will amount to punishment as per Excise Rules and Acts.
