Meghalaya Rural Bank, Mawthawpdah Branch will be closed due to detection of COVID-19 positive cases

Mawkyrwat, June 11, 2021: The office of the Deputy Commissioner, South West Khasi Hills Mawkyrwat in exercise of powers conferred under section 2, 3 & 4 of the Epidemic Disease Act, 1897 which has constitute the Meghalaya Epidemic Disease COVID-19 Regulations, 2020 and Amendments thereof for containment of outbreak of COVID-19 issued an order that after detection of positive cases/high risk contacts at “Meghalaya Rural Bank, Mawthawpdah Branch” due to recent high risk and low risk contact with the COVID-19 positive cases, vulnerable and affected areas required aggressive contact tracing, quarantined, testing and isolation as well as containment in the interest of Health of general public against any possible spread of COVID-19.

Therefore, “Meghalaya Rural Bank, Mawthawpdah Branch” will remain CLOSED w.e.f 11th June 2021 till further order. The office instructed that all person who attends the said office w.e.f 7th June 2021 must quarantine themselves at home for 10 (TEN) days and call up the District Control Room for detailed instructions and they will monitor their health closely and in case of development of any flu-like symptoms (cough, fever, breathing  difficulty) they will immediately inform the District Control Room at 9362681048/6033162971/9485153533 Or COVID Toll free Helpline 14410.
