Mawkyrwat, September 30, 2021: The office of the Deputy Commissioner (Excise), South West Khasi Hills District, Mawkyrwat under section 324 A of M.E. Act (Assam Excise Rules as adopted) declared Dry Day in the entire South West Khasi Hills District on 2nd October, 2021 on account of GANDHI JAYANTI where all liquor shops/IMFL shops/ Bar/ Hotels/ C.A Bars/ C.S shops/ /Canteens and out still stalls shall remain closed on the above mentioned date. Violation of the above order will amount to punishment as per Excise Rules and Acts.
